Each year, Summer Series remains an essential part of our organization’s efforts to help keep Brevard beautiful. In partnership with Florida Today, KBB will host three different water-based cleanups throughout the county.
It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s fun! Here’s what to expect when you volunteer for a Summer Series cleanup:
The event will start at 8 am with a safety briefing, and we’ll launch kayaks around 8:15/8:30 am. Volunteers will head out to clean up the waterways and return in waves to drop off litter and debris until about 11/11:30 am, before heading to our afterparty. Clean up and party down!!
Here’s the schedule. We’ll be updating the info as the TBDs are “determined”.
6/7/2025 – Spoil Islands – Merritt Island
Location- 528 – we will meet on 528 westbound
Boats will be provided by Cape Crossing Boat Rentals to shuttle volunteers to the spoil islands.
Afterparty will be at Dolphins Bar and Grill down the street.
