Who will be the winner this year?!?! Will the City of Melbourne win again for the most volunteers in attendance? Will somebody unseat the City of Palm Bay for most trash collected? Or, will a different city receive $500 to donate to a charity of their choice? Over the past month, KBB has received over 50 pieces of artwork for our annual art contest that coincides with our Trash Bash shirts. We are proud to announce that Alexandra Fernandez is our 2020 Youth Environmental Art Contest Winner. This talented young lady is a 7th-grade student at Andrew Jackson Middle School. She has encapsulated our mission and the theme “Be Drastic, Cut Plastic” in her artwork which depicts a manatee swimming through plastic trash. Please join us on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at one of our several cleanup locations. Brevard County municipalities and residents or local organizations will host each site. Please view and register (if necessary) for cleanup sites at the links below. More sites added daily!
