Summer Series 2025
Each year, Summer Series remains an essential part of our organization’s efforts to help keep Brevard beautiful. In partnership with Florida Today, KBB will host three different water-based cleanups throughout the county.
It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s fun! Here’s what to expect when you volunteer for a Summer Series cleanup:
The event will start at 8 am with a safety briefing, and we’ll launch kayaks around 8:15/8:30 am. Volunteers will head out to clean up the waterways and return in waves to drop off litter and debris until about 11/11:30 am, before heading to our afterparty. Clean up and party down!!
Trash Bash 2025: You showed up BIG!
April 7, 2025 – This weekend, 919 incredible volunteers gave up their Saturday to clean up our community — and the results speak for themselves:
104,758 pounds of litter and debris removed from streets, parks, and waterways!
We’re so grateful to every single person who picked up a bag, hauled heavy junk, brought the energy, and proved that when we come together, we can make a real difference.

Volunteers are needed to recruit businesses, distribute marketing materials and explain the program.
