Our Lagoon Friendly Lawns quarterly education summit for lawn care contractors and homeowners is coming up at the Satellite Beach Civic Center, and we’ve got some important topics to cover that will help you achieve, maintain or upgrade your Lagoon Friendly Lawns certification! We’ll start out with a brief introduction to the Lagoon Friendly Lawns program and how it works, then Linda Seals from the Brevard County UF/IFAS Extension Office will launch into our education topics. This time, we’ll be discussing various types of irrigation systems and how to use them properly in order to reduce water waste and minimize the production of harmful stormwater runoff. Linda’s presentation will be followed by a group discussion and a question-and-answer session.
