Volunteers pick up litter on the first Saturday after the first Thursday of each month starting at 8:00 am and usually finishing by 10 am. Volunteers can receive community service hours. Materials for cleanup activities are provided, including trash bags, gloves, sunscreen and tools.

The South Area Action Team normally meets on the second Wednesday of the month beginning at 10:00 AM at the Waste Management Admin Building on Talona Dr in West Melbourne. On Saturday, November 18 at 7:30 am, we will meet at the Cracker Barrel parking lot. We will pick up trash along Hwy 50 toward Hwy 405 just before Walmart. We will supply the grabbers, plastic bags and safety vents. You provide gloves, suntan lotion and pail (if you want it). Bring a friend.
