Great news!…Due to several requests, the 2015-2016 school and district submission DEADLINES HAVE BEEN EXTENDED!!! The NEW deadlines are as follows: September 9th, 2016 for SCHOOLS – Submit form HERE September 23rd, 2016 for DISTRICTS – Submit form HERE Participating school districts will receive a Ranking Level (Gold, Silver, Bronze) based on the score received from their reported data and on the percentage of schools submitting a Green School Profile under that district. From the Green School profiles received, the top schools will be selected and recognized by the state’s program. The Florida Green School Network Partners encourage ALL Florida school districts to submit a 2015-2016 Florida Green District Application and call ALL Florida K-12 schools to complete and submit a supplemental Green School Profile . (PDF versions of these application forms are available on the FGSN website ). *In addition, those schools and school districts interested in participating in the 2016-2017 NATIONAL GREEN RIBBON SCHOOL PROGRAM, open this fall, are REQUIRED to have participated in the state’s 2015-2016 Green Recognition Program by submitting one of the two forms mentioned above.
