LifeStyle Energy Efficient Homes

The LifeStyle SunSmart℠ energy-efficiency building initiative was developed in partnership between the team at LifeStyle Homes and the building scientists at the Florida Solar Energy Center in 2009. By using a unique combination of sustainable and energy-saving building components and practices, the ultimate goal and objective of the program is to reduce the energy consumption of every single home built by LifeStyle Homes by at least 40% guaranteed (when compared to typical new homes built today).
Since the project was introduced in 2009, LifeStyle Homes has built over 350 LifeStyle SunSmart℠ homes that adhere to this higher level of building. This means that over 350 homes in our community are built to some of the highest energy-efficiency standards in Florida and beyond. In turn, owners of LifeStyle SunSmart℠ homes save at least 40% on their monthly energy bills, but also live in a cleaner, healthier, more sustainable home.
