Brevard Field of Dreams won in nonprofit category.

The Brevard Field of Dreams was conceived and granted 501(c)(3) by the IRS in 2007 to develop a multi-sport park for those with special needs. The goal is to build a park that has no peer, that embraces universal access principles for special needs users of all kinds, that serves residents of Brevard County as well as the Central Florida Region, and that makes sound construction decisions that are cognizant of sustainable construction practices, environmentally friendly operation, and ease of operation given an all-volunteer operation.
