“The Litter Quitter program with Keep Brevard Beautiful is a program that aims towards reducing or eliminating plastics and Styrofoams in businesses located in Brevard County. The program utilizes volunteers to go out and recruit businesses, hand them marketing materials and explain our program. The business can join at either Bronze, Silver, or Gold level and it is completely free for the business! We ask them to reduce or eliminate straws, to-go containers, and other single-use plastics to reduce marine pollution. We also provide them, through our vendors, with sustainable alternatives to plastic. Volunteers in this program will be visiting businesses, recruiting them, and then also checking up on the businesses that are already a part of our program. The Litter Quitter training is where you will learn all of the essential information you will need to visit the businesses and learn more about our program.
