Due to the increasing volume of debris littering State Road 528 (SR 528), Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) hosted the Battle of the Causeways on Saturday, Feb 17th. SR 528 serves as an entrance to Brevard County’s beaches and is home to the wildlife treasured by residents and visitors.

Volunteer split into teams to collect trash on the east and west causeways and the winning team won a prize. Congratulations to our first place winners: the Patterson Family.
