KEEP BREVARD BEAUTIFUL LAGOON FRIENDLY LAWNS PROGRAM

Protecting the Indian River Lagoon starts with your yard! Keep Brevard Beautiful’s new Lagoon Friendly Lawns program, in partnership with the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program, was launched in August.  This exciting new program  recognizes local residents who are helping to prevent algal blooms and fish kills by minimizing nutrient pollution and stormwater runoff from their yards and restoring ecosystem functions with native plants.  To find out how you can be recognized for your yard, please see our Lagoon Friendly Lawns page.
